It was a perfect night. Beautiful weather, lively music and happy, generous friends all combined to make the 2009 High Hopes Concert in the Barn benefit on June 13 a great success.  An army of committed volunteers, led by event chairs Patty Ganey and John Evans, put together all the ingredients for a perfect evening, a gloriously decorated barn, tempting food, delicious wines and an exciting array of goods and services for the silent auction.  

The evening's program was expertly led by emcee, Dr. Robert Ballard and a highlight was the premier of a moving video that told the story of three of High Hopes' riders, Shruti, Ian and Andrew.  We would like to thank all our supporters, individuals and corporate, particularly the event sponsor, Essex Savings Bank and Essex Financial Services, for making this a truly memorable evening.

The bottom line shows the generous support with $55,000 raised in the silent auction, $47,000 for the Scholarship Challenge and a projected net of $185,000.
